Local Government Advisory Committee (LGAC)

OVERVIEW

The Local Government Advisory Committee (LGAC) was created by the York County Board of Commissioners by resolution. The LGAC is a committee of elected and appointed municipal officials representing the townships and boroughs of York County. The LGAC provides a local government perspective on proposed projects as well as provides a networking and information sharing opportunity for elected and appointed officials on planning issues. The LGAC:

  • Reviews and makes recommendations on planning projects being conducted by the York County Planning Commission
  • Reviews and makes recommendations to the York County Planning Commission on proposed plans and ordinances from municipalities

Meetings

  • 10:00 a.m.
  • The LGAC meets 8 days prior to the York County Planning Commission meeting, which is normally held the 2nd Monday of each month.
