Public Involvement Plan (PIP)

The Public Involvement Plan (PIP) was developed to provide guidelines for public participation for activities conducted by the YCPC. After evaluating the activities consistently used by YAMPO to solicit public comment on projects, plans, and programs, this plan lays out a “toolbox” containing a variety of ideas and activities to reach out to the public to encourage their participation in the planning process, to garner their opinions concerning projects and to keep them informed of current and future happenings.
