The Municipal/Current Planning Department provides a multitude of technical and review services to the 72 municipalities that comprise York County. Those services cover a wide variety of topics from ordinance development assistance to flood plain identification. The review services cover plan reviews, ordinance amendments, sewage module review and others. The Municipal/Current Planning Department has the resources and the expertise to provide answers to municipal planning needs.

 

Below is a partial listing of the services provided.

  • Review of Subdivision and/or Land Development Plans

  • Review of Zoning and Subdivision/Land Development  Ordinance Amendments

  • Assistance in the development of Municipal Comprehensive Plans, Zoning Ordinances and Subdivision/Land Development Ordinances

  • Respond to requests for information on topics such  as National Flood Insurance, Agricultural Preservation and House Numbering

  • Review of Sewage Facilities Planning Module

  • Inquiries on municipal planning projects, zoning ordinance and subdivision regulation updates and amendments, subdivision and/or land development reviews, storm water management plans, zoning reviews, development trends, the York County Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance, the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (PA MPC) and related matters:
