Welcome to the York County Planning Commission website! If you are a new visitor to the site, please take a few minutes to browse around. Since the York County Planning Commission is the planning commission to the York County Board of Commissioners, you will find a lot of general information about York County as well as specific information about the work we do. Regardless of whether you are looking for something specific or browsing to learn more about our organization, I think you will find the site very informative and user friendly.
If you are a return visitor to the site, you will notice that it has been updated to incorporate more graphics, new features and additional tools. A couple of the new features include a Hot Topics button that provides information about recent activities, and the Opportunity for Public Comment option for visitors to provide input on documents currently in their public comment period. Several of the new tools include a Document Search, an Acronyms & Terminology listing, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for each department. The site still includes many of the user favorites such as the contact information for Municipal Officials and on-line files of our many publications.
