|
CDBG Program: This program provides assistance for public infrastructure and public facility improvements in low/moderate income areas; provides assistance to individual low/moderate income property owners to rehabilitate their existing dwelling; provides assistance for planning studies; provides assistance to non-profit agencies for the provision of public services to lower income households; and provides assistance for the development of affordable rental housing units through new construction and/or rehabilitation of existing buildings.
Home Program: The intent of this program is to assure an adequate supply of standard housing which is affordable to low and very low income households.
ESG Program (Emergency Shelter Grant): This program provides assistance to emergency shelter providers, as well as to non-profit agencies for the provision of emergency shelter supportive services to the homeless and/or victims of domestic violence.
Affordable Housing Trust Fund: This program is intended to provide funds to rehabilitate existing owner and rental residential units to provide rental assistance to lower income households to provide assistance to home buyers and to construct new, affordable rental housing to lower income households.
Weatherization: This program is designed to reduce heating and cooling costs for low income families, particularly for the elderly, people with disabilities and children, by improving the energy efficiency of their homes.
Sewer Hook-Up Assistance Program: This program is designed to provide financial and technical assistance to eligible property owners who are required to connect to public sanitary sewer systems.
First-Time Homebuyers Program: This program is intended to provide down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible County Residence for the purchase of an existing residential unit located in a York County Borough, village or developed area, with existing public water and sewer.
Home Improvement Program: This program is intended to provide financing for the rehabilitation of owner-occupied dwellings, which require certain improvements in order to correct substandard conditions.
