Chief:
This position coordinates the activities of the department and participates in the development and maintenance of the York County Comprehensive Plan.
Criminal Justice Planner:
The purpose of this position is to research criminal justice statistics trends and patterns within York County. This position organizes and analyzes a wide variety of criminal justice data and produces a comprehensive annual report. The annual report then provides a basis for the prioritization and decision-making processes conducted by the County’s Criminal Justice Advisory Board.
Senior Planner:
This position completes project reviews and participates in the on-going development and updating of the County Comprehensive Plan and related planning projects. This position is also responsible for the overall coordination of the “Municipal Consulting Program”, which is designed to develop consistency between municipal and County Comprehensive planning efforts.
Water Resources Coordinator:
This position acts as the York County Planning Commission resource person for all water-related programs, issues and organizations. Tasks include information gathering and consolidation, YCPC representation at meetings and coordination with other planners in the review of projects and preparation of reports.
Municipal Outreach Coordinator:
The purpose of this position is to provide a broad array of information to municipalities in a regional context and offer a variety of technical assistance services to assist municipalities on an individual basis, as well as promote the County's vision for the future as detailed in the York County Comprehensive Plan.
