The York County Uniform Construction Code Board of Appeals (UCC BOA) became effective in April of 2004 and is being administered by the YCPC. Any municipality opting into the UCC became responsible for enforcing the code within their municipality and had to provide for an appeals board. To avoid duplication and foster inter-governmental cooperation, the York County UCC Board of Appeals was created.

The York County UCC Board of Appeals is comprised of five members, each representing a specific field within building design and construction. The members are appointed by the York County Board of Commissioners. Each member also has an appointed alternate. The members were originally appointed on staggered terms so the terms would not expire within the same year.

These meetings will be held, as needed, the
3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm.
